I have been poling in my room, but I just dont have enough room to get a good practice in.. I live right outside of Houston, TX and was thinking about putting the pole in my garage. So my questions are… How do you think the weather will affect my poling? What is an inexpensive way to assist in turns and sliding on the concrete flooring?

When I had my pole out in my garage I went to Lowes and bought a piece of smooth panelling and placed that on the floor under my pole.

If your garage is not air conditioned you will have lots of issues with poling pretty much most of the year.

Not a helpful post, but good luck. I can only pole in the mornings at my place, it gets full sun in the afternoon and is impossible to pole in after that hits. Fingers crossed you get a solution. A good fan? Portable air con? Anything??
