Getting discouraged…
I just thought I would get on here and let you folks know a little of what's going on. i started my poling adventure in 2010 after being unemployed for a year and wanting to get out of my depression. I immediately fell in love. I got around to my year with not as much progess as I would have liked because 3 months into this year long journey I became the teacher or sorts. Not knowing how to do or even teach some on the moves, I took a level one class in Atlanta at Polelateaz and loved every minute.
The problem is that Atlanta is an hour and 45 minutes away each way. I would love to still continue classes but that drive is killing me as well as the gas money. I want to conitnue taking classes so that when I am done with my Master's degree hopefully this June, I can begin with my beginner classes.
The reason I am discouraged is because I fell that without taking these classes, I won't make any progress. I look at all these ladies (and gentlemen) who are comfortably inverting months in an I'll be at 2 years poling and barely inverting. I know that if i can learn the moves I can maintain them, but I also don't have a lot of room at home to pole.
So there you have it, just wanted to get that out and maybe it will help me think. Just feeling ready to give up https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
