New bloke wanting to learn
Hello!
I've been interested in learning for a while, having been blown away by seeing some friends perform effortless acrobatics. Sadly there aren't any teachers nearby who do mixed classes, but I have recently come to an arrangement with a good friend of mine who didn't have room in her house for her pole; I host her pole and let her practice whenever she wants, and I get free lessons!
I'm on here looking for advice and tips for more male-oriented moves, as well as strength (core/abs mainly) building techniques so I can beat my friend to Iron X. I've got a few spins under my belt, and am working on a more controlled descent from Chopper, as well as trying to overcome my fear when trying a handspring! I'd be grateful for any advice on exercises/moves I should try.
