  • Working on just Dancing

    I am making a committment to myself that one practice a week will be ALL dance, and no tricks.  No mat comes out, no inverting, no thigh holding, etc.  Just flow, spin, floor, flexibility.  Any videos (youtube) you know that can help me, I would love the links.  I'm writing this goal down so it becomes REALITY!

    That’s a great idea. I really need to work on the dance part myself, I live doing tricks but feel wired just dancing….. I don’t have a dance background.
    Anyway, I might have to steal your idea but don’t think I can stay off the pole lol

    I've devoted Thursdays to be my just dance practice day.  Which is probably why my "just dancing" videos are posted on  Thursday nights.  But it gets tough after a while if you don't know very many floorwork and pole stuff minus the spins and tricks.  So then I cheat and add in spins since they're kinda low impact…. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif  I always love Thursdays now!
