I’ll be moving over from the UK next month with work until September and am looking for somewhere to keep up with pole! I’ll be working in Carderock and at the moment it looks like I’ll be living in Rockville but happy to travel a bit if I need to…any help would be appreciated 🙂 x

XPose is near there and they are great! I love that studio. There are 4 around that area. There is probably some more too…Pole Pressure is good too.

Just to note, there are more in MD but I gave you the ones closest to you.

Xpose is now down to 3 locations – Arundel Mills, Annapolis, and Towson.  They all might be a bit out of the way for you.  You can also try Chic Physique as well.  Theres also Facination Fitness, A Pole New You, Jordins Paradise and The P Spot.

I live near the Xpose Arundel Mills location!  This area is huge in pole.  Let me know when you make it to the area!

Chic Physique is probably closest to you. They have a studio in Bethesda. It's probably about a 15-20 minute drive from the heart of Rockville.

Thanks so much for the suggestions…I’ll have a look at them all online. I won’t know anyone over there other than a colleague I’m moving over with so really keen to keep busy with pole!

Depending on where you are in Rockville, you might even be able to get to DC easily and try out a Pole Pressure class. It'd be a commute, for sure, but I could see it being fun to try out a class in a different studio every once in a while. They have special masters classes with a good frequency I think.

Jessalynn Medairy is the pro there. Since I do martial arts I wanted to say that she's the Master of the school, but then I realized how weird that sounded. 🙂 She teaches classes in at least the downtown DC location!

Pole Pressure is the best! It’s worth the drive/metro commute. I have friends that live in Rockville that go regularly! Check out the website at polepressure.com and their Facebook page. I have gone to so many studios and have by far learned the most at Pole Pressure, and the community of girls are the sweetest most supportive I’ve ever met! You should come by! We would love to have you in class! 😉

When I get the chance, I love to come down to Pole Pressure.  For me driving is 30min but a pain in the butt to find parking in the city so I just take the Metro instead.  Its an extra 30min but totally worth it!

    hehehe… @minicoopergirl.  I have a Mini Cooper, too!

let me know when you come to Pole Pressure!  I'm there almost every day!!  I'm obsessed.  Pole Pressure is my happy place.

I’ll definitely be tryin out Pole Pressure then…I may not be living in Rockville after all (we’re having an accommodation nightmare!) but hoping to be on the metro line wherever I am. I’m keen on anywhere that sounds like a good pole community cos no doubt once I get back into it I’ll be there all the time! Especially with not being able to have a pole at home there 🙁

Yeay!!! When will you be in town? I’m so happy you are gonna come! We can show you around town, too! The main studio is right in the middle of DC, close to everything! Let me know and I’ll meet you at class then show you around! 😉

I haven't been to a class in a while (and never made it consistently) but I wonder if I've seen some of you sometimes!

Yes! There is a free intro class every Saturday at noon. It’s tons of fun! It’s like a party in there! At the end, the instructor will demo moves for each level and go over a description of each class. You also get a discount if you get a class pack the same day that you go to intro. That’s so soon! Let me know when you are planning on coming to the studio.
