Yep I was saying the same thing the other day! I'm a slow poke…been in a rut. I know that if I would just man up and practice more I would be further along than I am. Ce la vie I guess. Sigh.

Both u ladies need to post a video….it gets u encouraged to continue w all the positive feedback u will get. Also, you two should partner up and Skype or at least start to encourage each other via messages. Sounds like ur both in the same boat, can relate to each other and could support each other!

This is not a talent that you acquire over night. There is a lot of hard work that goes into pole and we all start somewhere. Use others as inspiration but not as discouragement. If you want it bad anough it will be yours….just be patient.

Well said Chem! We all start at different stages, and with different abilities. I’m almost 47, and I’m in a class where all the other students are under 30, but they are all such great ladies, and I think it sort of pushes me to not give up. Most days I struggle to keep up, but I can’t let it inhibit my progress. Some of us members on here have been at this for quite awhile, and I guarantee each of us has gone through struggles. If you have passion for it, don’t give up. You are already doing more than most people would even dare to try!
