I was wondering can too much stress on a certain area cause bruising.  I have a large bruise on my wrist, but cannot recal hitting it or doing anything other that than holds that would have caused it. This happen to any of you before?

This sounds like a really dumb question (lol) so let me make it clear… Not stress like holds (like on the thigh).. But stress from strains… yeah, is it possible to strain the wrist causing bruising, lol

The bruising I get on my wrist comes from when I do spins. The hand kinda wraps around the pole and ends up rubbing the wrist without realizing it. Do you think it may be that?

But yes, strains can cause bruising. Any strain is like a minor injury, which causes some internal bleeding due to ruptured tissue/damaged tissue.

Oh sure…bruising can come simply from over-extending the area, anything that can cause damage to the blood vessels. It most often is caused from over gripping…keeping you too close to the pole.
