Extreme Northern CA
Hi everyone! Just wanted to take a moment to say hello & formally introduce myself. My name is Becky & I live in Humboldt, CA (about 4 hours north of San Francisco, near Oregon). I was first introduced to pole fitness at the local strip club, The Tip Top. They offered 2 hour classes while they were closed for only $12. I went with a friend for about 2-3 months before I put up my own pole in my bedroom. I am now over 1yr. into the sport but am not where I would like to be due to my schedule- I work 8-5 as a legal assistant, and then 5-till I crash as a retail store co-owner. I'm working on finding time to workout, the challenged & videos here have def. helped motivate me & I am now over one month into weekly scheduled workout & stretching twice a week. Already starting to notice a difference!
I am wondering if any veeners are nearby, I would love a pole buddy to skype with and keep each other accountable- I live in a pretty secluded area so my guess would be no, but It never hurts to ask! Nice to meet everyone!
