Where do you get your pole dancing attire from?
Posted by Nikki Johnson on May 7, 2012 at 1:02 amJust curious to how everyone else finds their pole dancing attire!
My favorite pair of shorts do dance in are black hooters shorts from when I used to work there, and a tank top of some sort.
I have a few pairs of other shorts that I dance in too, but most of the time I end up flashing my coochie in those because they're so loose fitting. With the hooters shorts its not really any better though because they ride up my butt, but oh well.
Oh, and my boobs fall out of my shirt.
Yea, so its time to upgrage pole attire and I wanna get opinions before I start buying!

I have a little bit of everything for pole. I have stuff from Bad Kitty, Lululemon, Under Armour, Danskin etc. I also wear cheer shorts as well. Im always on the hunt for something cute but offers lots of support – I have big boobs and its hard to find something that is supportive and cute without it being super pricey. I like BK for the style but I like UA for all the compression stuff they make.
At the Ms VA comp, I wore all Under Armour. I did that mostly b/c Im from MD and UA is a MD based business, why not represent them???

I mostly get my pole outfits from Lululemon. It's pricy but very sturdy, comfy, and most of all they hold my "food baby" in and keep my private parts private https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif. I have 2 pole shorts that I bought in 2009 and they still look new. And the bras have kept my D-cup girls from popping out so far.
Bought some Mika after the rave reviews here. Honestly, I was sorely disappointed! My Mika shorts are just ok… I think you need to have a really flat stomach for them. The waistband isn't very reinforced so it tends to roll under and expose my food baby. They're functional otherwise. After 2 uses of the matching bra though, the elastic inside the fabric separated from the side seam. My left boob now likes to perform the "underboob" below the band so it's pretty much useless now. I guess I could rip out the seam and repair it by hand coz it is quite pretty, but for the cost and the reviews, I expected better performance from the garment. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I make all my own pole outfits. I do work on comission, too. If you're interested in my designs, you can either look at what I'm wearing in my videos here or on my Elektra Fashions page: http://www.facebook.com/elektrafashions
