Can anyone recommend a pole for 15+ foot ceilings?  I have a condo with vaulted ceilings and desperately want to install a pole.

Also anyone know of a pole studio in columbus, Ga area?

While it isn't officially supported by X-Pole we've had great success using an X-Pole and a vaulted ceiling adapter at that height.  The vaulted ceiling adapter reduces the amount of tension required to keep the pole in place so it shouldn't warp even at 15 feet.

I believe XPole has a special enforced one that they sell for anything taller than 12 feet.

You should call all 4 companies and see what they say. Pole Danzer, Lilmynx, and Platinum Stages offer 1 piece poles. X pole has a multi piece. I would THINK it would be better to have a 1 piece at that height (but I'm not positive.) Check with the companies and see if they'd make a 15 footer for home use.

SHipping will be expensive to a 1 piece at that height though, so you should get pricing and shipping quotes as well…

Go to platinum stages website, they will make custom heights and have several brands with ceiling adapters available

If you can put the pole lower than 15 ft you might like that better. I’ve danced on tall poles and I prefer 10-12ft. Anything over that and it gets pretty bouncy, when you use it.

One of the studios I go to have 14ft poles, and they're really not bouncy or anything. I'm not sure what kind they are though, but they are permanently mounted I think..:)

The studio I go to has poles mounted at 15ft. There's an X-Pole multipiece and then other one-piece poles – the X-pole does bend/bounce quite a fair bit compared to the one pieces so I suppose that is something to take into consideration.
