I posted this on facebook but am posting it here also.  Most of those new to the scene have probably never heard of Sarah Cretul but you certainly know her moves.  We would have no twisted grip without her, no flag mount, no pretzel spin.  She was the first I ever saw fly into a spin…and I mean FLY.  This video was posted to youtube around 2008.  You may need to log into YT to view it as it is age restricted.  Think…this was 4 years ago…before the first USPDF competition ever existed.  She still has stuff in this video that makes my head spin.

In searching YT I found this video of her from just a few months ago.  If you do not scream at 2:45 and then again at about 3:50 there may be something wrong with you.

OMG! It’s so funny that you just posted this!!! I was just doing a search on her, literally 5 minutes ago! She is one of my favorite polers and I was hoping she put something new up. But I didn’t find anything. Thanks so much for sharing. It’s good to see that she is still poling.

The very first USPDF competition Jenyne took 1st, Alethea took 2nd (Miss Sexy) and Sarah took 3rd (Miss Trixster).

Thank you for sharing her links and giving her props. She is the full package, strong, flexible, charismatic. Such an inspiration.

Glitter, the second video that I posted was from February of this year.

The USPDF routinwe with Alethea is what had prompted my posting this.

Sarah had dropped out of pole for some time and at one point was racing dirt bikes out in LA.  She is back in Florida.  She was never one to really compete and have to put routines together.  I liken her to Shadow who is also bad ass but many have no idea who she is.  There are so many greats out there that just don't want to compete but are deserving props for the inspiration they have provided to many.  Just think if Veena did not have this site…would you know who she is?

I remember when she posted the video of her poling in her barn and you were praying that the barn wasnt going to come down on her.

So this is my absolute favorite video of Sarah Cretul.  actually, it's THE favorite video of mine 😀  It's her entry for the IPDFC 2009 competition on Tokyo.

check out move 0.55-1.00sec.  She makes the twisted grip look so effortless!!!  It's like she has invisible strings on her legs that are pulling her upwards.  Amazing!!!!
