    Fun!  I have been a bellydancer for 9 years so adding bellydance will be fun!

    This makes me think.  Would it be possible to incorporate say a paso doble' into pole.  In the paso doble the woman is the 'bull' as in bullfighting and her partner the matador.  I would imagine the pole in this instance could be the matador.

    I've wanted to do a pole/Argentine tango to El Tango de Roxanne from Moulin Rouge for ages but I'm not sure I can do it justice yet! I'm not very good at actual dancing!

    Probably because I am not sure most of us have any other dance style we are practiced in. I can belly hoop and that is about it. No one really wants to see that. LOL!!!!! I use to do every kind of dance in the book and lyrical was my fav. I may try something like that or gymnastics dance was always similar to floor work. I could do that. Mine will probably be late. I am moving and trying to catch up on the challenges.

    I did my challenge just before I had my surgery!! I never chair danced before…and has not hooped in a couple months. It was a difficult challenge… I am just glad I did it so I could keep my new year’s resolution–to do all the sv challenges, no.matter.what. 😉 now, i just hope I will have to only catch up on July and August. Give it a go! The challenges are supposed to be challenging 😉

    so i'm a bit late but i finally did my first challenge…..i incorporated salsa and pole….or at least tried to :). obviously you can tell i'm still a beginner, and my strength is really lacking, but i gave it a shot and would really appreciate your feedback…now all I have to do is figure out how to upload the damn video…. 🙂 oh…and its about 9 minutes long because i am terrible at editing, and after the 3 minutes of video, the song plays entirely by itself…it's an amazing song so i hope you enjoy listening to it 🙂

    I just watched your challenge and I think you nailed it! You have so much more dance ability than me and I’ve always seemed to have strength issues. Veena’s strength training really makes a difference! One month and my friend could see it in my arms, haha. And, you can always go back and do any of the challenges you want. You just label them with the month (year, maybe..?) and that it is a challenge. You are off to a great start! Bravo 😀
