what do you think of it?  I am flipping back and forth and cant decide..ugh!!!  My first purchase 3 years ago was a TG 50mm which I love. I bought a 45mm chrome sport and then an X-Stage LIte 45mm.  I lean towards the 45mm a LOT.  So I'm wondering can I possibly go wrong with the 40mm?  Any input ladies n gents…thanks!

    I don't have a 40, but I've danced on a 38 enough times to know that I love it!

Hmmm yeah I’ve talked to a couple and that seems to be the agreement lol. I may b placing an SV order!! The X-Pole Canada site doesn’t have it. Plus I’d rather support here 🙂

I absolutely love mine!! I usually use skinny poles though so anything 45mm or higher feels way too big.

I ordered mine direct from x-pole earlier in the summer and they said in 2 weeks the 40mm should be available in Canada. However I'm impatient and it's been well over 2 weeks and I still don't think it's out here yet. But I asked the sales lady to calculate what I would save if I waited and it was only about 30-40$! So I bought it right away lol

Anyway, no regrets. I love my 40!

I’ve only had 2 short pole sessions on my 40. So I don’t feel yet that I can say if I do or don’t like it. As of right now….. I still prefer my 45.

Those who like the 40….how tall are you?

@Veena, approximately hobbit shaped. Maybe 5ft 2 or 3 max?

Jenn, let me know if it's easier for you to have your pole shipped to my house – because that's an option 🙂

I'm 5'5 and I cannot get my fingers to touch on a 45, the moment I tried the 40 I fell in LOVE.  I could actually GRIP the pole – fingers touching and all.

@Veena: Is there anything special you can point out which makes you still prefer the 45 mm? I'm also curious why you ask about the height of the ones liking the 40mm? Just wonder, since I've been thinking of getting a 40 mm myself (mainly because I do a lot of spinny) and I'm probably about your height. Have never tried anything slimmer than 45 yet so any input is valuable!

I'm 5'2 with small hands and loves spin mode, so that was the selling point for me. I just have better grip on my 40mm….i don't go flying off lol. I went from a 50mm to a 40 and the first practice I had on my 40mm I achieved  things I couldn't imagine of doing so soon.

I haven't used the Xpole 40 mm poles, but I have danced on custom 38s and I love those poles. I feel like I can do anything on them. I love it because i can one hand spin on spinny mode with them which i cannot do on a 50. I havent really experimented that much with my 45mm. I am about 5'9".

I'm about 170cm (5'7) and I have a 40mm pole, and I looove it! You will have to work harder on your thigh grip though if you're used to wider poles, but I see that as a perk 😛

Lina, I was just asking about height because I was wondering if smaller/shorter polers preferred this pole. I know a few really tall girls do not like the 45 and prefer the 50. Thanks for sharing guys!
