  Popcorn ceiling

  Omg! I just cracked my ceiling! Came home from work to discover this cracked dent on my ceiling from my pole! According to my stud finder it should have support but apparently not! I have had my pole up in the same spot for 6 months so don’t know why it would collapse now?

  Ceilings are weird like that. I have a popcorn ceiling as well but so far I havent seen any cracks. Have you been overtightening your pole?

  I kind of just left it up and hadn’t really adjusted or tightened in awhile. I assume I must have overtightened it but strange that it would take so long to do damage.

  Hm… I have popcorn ceiling as well and I have never had to retightened my pole….  I have also never taken my pole down… I'm kind of afraid to now since there could be a surprise crack or something https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
