pike hold – crossing legs?
Hi all!
So if I can do a straight legs pole sit, should I be able to get my legs kind of together for the pike hip hold? I haven't really concentrated on it, but from what I remember (haha I'm at work, daydreaming about pole =P) it's hard enough getting them within an inch of each other. And from pictures of other people doing it, it looks like their legs are nice and flush against each other or even crossed!
Is this a pole placement thing or a flexibility thing? I s'pooossse it's relevant to mention that I'm a little knock-kneed, but it's definitely not an extreme case. Only noticeable when I have to put my feet together in martial arts, since I have to pay attention to it and maybe bend one knee slightly. (Okay with the nice roomy pants. =P) If Rebecca Bross can do balance beam with her legs, I've got no excuses.
