  • Options for using poles with false ceilings???

I am trying to get a gym I am teaching belly dance at to get pole classes going and they really want to offer them but their group fitness room has false ceilings, I'm not sure if the tiles are able to be slid away or not. I know X-stages could be an option but they would require a long time to set up and aren't ideal for teaching on. I have my original X-pole in a vaulted ceiling room but we slid the tile away and put it on the wooden beam. Are there any mounts or other options that would work???

From what i know there would be a solid beam under the tiles so the best thing to do is take a look ;  )

If you can move the tiles there are mounts for Xpoles but it also depends on what type of beams are above…most building have steel beams like Tiggertail stated. Then you have to get permission from the building owner to drill into them.

I know one studio Chemmie was at use to store the stages turned up on their sides again the wall but I THINK she said it was a lot of wear and tear on the stages? She may have more info for you.
