Weird butt wrinkling/crumpling/dimpling with some moves?
Posted by creepystripper on September 14, 2012 at 9:53 pmI'm pretty content with my body, glorious stretch marks and all.
BUT
I've been shocked to see how awful my butt texture looks when I do some moves that require pressing against the pole at the butt area.
Do you guys just not care when that happens? Avoid? Sob? Any tricks?

I get awful butt and leg puckers, but I have just accepted that that is my body.

sometimes I catch glimpses of my thighs in the webcam and almost fall off my pole in surprise "how can there be so much cellulite in such a relatively small area?!?! this morning i swear i was smooth!"
You just gotta ignore it – it's gonna happen in some moves, don't worry about it! our bodies are only squishable to a certain degree before they start bulging in weird shapes lol! and we're all the same in that respect!

As u get older that happens all the time! Not even when ur on the pole!!!!

Happens, I just don't care. After a certain point I think you are way more caught up in the amazing things your body can do. Makes cellulite seem like a small sacrifice.

Because I am new I have not YET done any moves where my butt shows dimpling. LOL But…. I noticed my arms and legs have some wrinkling this year from aging. I even went to the Doctor and said What is this? He said age !!! I was like no way !!! Also growing up on West Coast beaches I have had too much sun. So my skin has paid for all of that. I would not change a thing. I have had the best life and love the sun. So now I pay.
I saw the underneath of my arms in a picture when I was doing aerials and I thought "OMG !!! Those cannot be my arms.???" I went home and started exercising more. I thought whose old lady arms and flat ass is that???? Not mine. : )
All you can do is watch your diet, exercise, drink water, try to keep alcohol, smoking and such at a minimum. Lot of it is genetics. I am fortunate to have pretty good genes and health.
If I can eventually do a climb and invert I do not care how bad my ass looks. I can say that now but when I see it on video I will say OMG that is not my ass. LOL
Good topic !!! I have not seen anyone in a video on here that I thought looked bad. I think all the Veener's are so very very HOT !!! Really I feel so fortunate to have found you all.

Sometimes I see that sort of leg puckering especially when I’ve got less coverage, and I’m a size 00. I think it happens to most all people who aren’t completely made of rock hard muscle. :3

im 110 pounds and the dippling is terrible in my thighs on some moves. but oh well, nothing i can do about it! i still think im sexy lol!

I have the problem too! I have noticed though the more I pole, the less I have. So I’m hoping with time..not so much cellulite. A fake tan can help to make it not stand out as much.

I just recently got up to 114 lbs mostly because I've been strength training so I was really shocked to see so much dimpling on my butt and thighs when I go into this deep lunge looking stretch:

So don't write yourself off as being "fat" just because of it. Sounds like it is normal, which is a relief to me! Thanks for posting this question!

Yes it happens to me sometimes. Ive learnt which ones though and if im ever performing for someone i make sure i do the move in a certain direction to them.. Example would be inside leg hang. Thigh cellulite and sometimes my belly looks a little weird so i try do the move with my hooked leg facing the audience 🙂 not sure if thats any help to you but its what i do lol.

I have constant puckering. No pole needed. It's in my genes. That's why I don't do booty shorts. They make my butt look icky.

I was always a stick figure when I was young. I have bad genetics and started getting cellulite when I was in my late 20's even though I was still super skinny. I'll be 48 in a couple of weeks, and the cellulite is horrid, but I don't care as much as I once did. I am in the best shape of my life as far as strength goes. I have a decent diet. I can get on that pole and do moves that 1/2 the women my age would never in a million years be able to do. That is satisfaction!! As Jovial said, a fake tan (I use a self tanner) can disguise the cellulite quite a bit. I also use a cellulite cream daily. Other than that, not much you can do except keep at it! Any form of exercise can improve the texture. I also found that most people are not looking at that stuff. Only the awesome moves!!

Embrace ur dimples, this is what real women look like and we should not be ashamed of it. I love my cellulite, it reminds me of being female and being female is awesome. There is nothing wrong with it

I've even noticed it on my calves (more so with aerial silks). I didn't even know my calves had fat!

I'm 31 and noticed cellulite on the backs of my thighs about a week ago (in a 3 way mirror at a department store)…I can tell I'm aging more gracefully than I would've thought because my reaction was 'oh well, more to shake'. I embrace it 🙂 I also have little spider veins showing up on one of my calves like a little road-map lol. It is what it is.
