Made the FRONT PAGE!
Squeeeee!! I am shocked and sooooo happy pole made the front page of the Hawaii Tribune-Herald newspaper today! I was hoping for a little column in the Community section of the paper when I sent in a submission note, and was thrilled when a reporter called me and asked to bring a photog so they could observe a class. Was I TOTALLY surprised to see a front page above-the-fold picture and story the next day! I rarely toot my own horn, but dammit I'm excited about this one! Positive promotion of our art!! Yayyyyyy Trixie!!! Thanks for doing this, it'll help make people open up to pole more here in Hawaii. You girls at the Big Island rock it!!! Hope to make it to your island one day, and one day when there are more of us maybe we can have an inter-island jam 😀
