I ordered pair of open-toed, knee-high boots a few weeks back and after trying them on I notice they fit sorta loosely around my ankles and mid-calf. Does anyone know of any tips to get them just a little more snug. I'd hate to be at work and have them sliding around my feet and calves. Here's what they look like:

Are they to big? I really do not know of tips to make the fit smaller. Now if they are tight, I know lots of tips for that.

I would say that if they fit your foot well and stay up, you're good to go. Some of us just have proportionately smaller ankles and calves. My ankle boots do the same thing at the top of my foot where the smallest part of the ankle is, but they are good at the top. When I'm inverted and use them to hang on, I appreciate that they are a little loose. Also, the more you work, the hotter you get, and the tighter they will be. If your feet are sliding around too much, like they are too big, then I would get a smaller size. Safety is everything!

Leg warmers / knee high socks. Some boots fit, some need MINOR adjustments. For me sometimes a calf needs extra padding, so I have different thickness of leg warmers and sometimes old leggings torn to fit or stuff into areas of the boots, without the gym sock in the shorts budge look and feel.

Some fun under tones if you have luck with warmers. If this boot is strictly tie up (?) no zipper, try thicker or different shoe strings/ties.
