I KNOW, I KNOW! Halloween is two weeks away and I should have picked something by now! But, I ran out of money and was out of work and I just got back into the swing of things. Unfortunately, I'm indecisive. And I'm looking for help! So I'm going to make this thread to (a) get some help myself and (b) maybe help some other ladies who are just as behind the Halloween curve as I am and maybe want to do this month's SV challenge but don't know what to wear. If you're not sewing challenged (I could start wars with how bad I am at sewing) or have friends who make custom pieces, feel free to link their/your work as well :3 Or even suggest McGuivering it with things you might be able to find around your house/old costumes. Heck, post old pictures of super amazing costumes from previous years and maybe you'll inspire afew of us.

What I'm looking for:

-Something for "work". I do topless dancing and need something that has a top that easy to take on and off. One pieces are fine, as long as they have either a full length zipper or minimum clips. Or something I can just pull over my head.
-Something not low quality. I don't want people to see my skin through the black light. It doesn't need to be hand made super extraordinary, but I'd like it to be something that I could get away with wearing at a party and not just work.
-Something under $150 for the main outfit. Feel free to link accessories, stockings, etc as I can pick them up as a go (since I make cash whenever I want/when I'm lucky) even if the added price isn't in the $150 price range–for instance, if there's a custome for $130, but the hat and stocking and shoes end up being $120 for an added price of $250, it's fine. This is more or less just a brain storming thread for me :3
-Something that isn't a schoolgirl outfit. I have three. |: I need something "new"
-Something WITHOUT glitter. Sequins are okay.

About my body:
-I'm 5'10, so short things on petite girls might look odd on me
-I have just as much in the trunk as I do in the…hood? I'm not sure what sort of slang to refer to my chest as, but I'm a C cup. And I got a big ol' booty, but a small waste. My measurments are 32-24-32. I'm an hourglass shape.
-I'm relatively pale, but I work under black lights so I'm not sure how well pastles will look on me. I think white looks okay?

I don't have any old two piece costumes or things with zippers ;o;

Things I'm considering purchasing, but I can't pick one:

I've been wanting to find a geisha costume to go with some kick a$$ shoes in either style, I can't decide which one would be better for pole http://www.discountstripper.com/beau-607cb-wedge-sandal.aspx

http://www.discountstripper.com/beau-601-8.aspx

but there are only two Asian-esque outfits I've found so far that I like:

I like the blue one, but it doesn't go with the shoes :<

A lady bug go-go looking outfit from BKEW:

So yeah. Hopefully I won't be the only one posting and everyone will share Halloween ideas and past experiences 😀 Good luck everyone!

SO many typos, but I was really excited to talk to people about costumes and Halloween. All of my friends are "Bleh" about Halloween :<

The blue is cute too! Do you have black or clear shoes that would work??

Yeah, I have a pair of plain black shoes. I wasn’t sure about the ankle strap either. I’ve never bought shoes without them but borrowed a pair once for work and just used ties to keep them on and it worked fine

I saw this and I got inspired! http://www.yandy.com/Fantasy-Unicorn-Costume.php

I'm making my own from a leotard, tutu, unicorn horn, and sticking a cutie mark on my butt. I guess you could wear a corset or a bikini top or whatever but that's not like super duper crazy unique. D:

I like magical ponies. ;-;

Have you checked out Trashy Lingerie? They have a bargain costume line. The geisha mistress is quite cute. You could wear a bra and comfort thong underneath. http://www.trashy.com/Geisha-Mistress.19731-product.htm

I bought my costume from Trashy Lingerie but it was one of their handmade items. It fits like they made it specially for me and the details are amazing. I can't speak to their bargain line, but the costumes look pretty decent.

Oh wow! I looked at trashy months back for personal lingerie before I started dancing, but all of their costumes seem legit

also, tea, the “animal” sets seem to be really popular this year. I was thinking about being a Hello Kitty but realized I’m spending the next three weeks at home resting or working :/

You could always just get different costume ears and a tu tu and mix it up so you do not need to spend money to make money if you wanted. They have these light up Roudolph ears at Walmart in the Christmas section in the back. (Yes it is already out) I would put them on w black pole clothes and maybe red shoes to match his nose!!!!!!!!!!
