I bought the Carmen Electra pole before I did my research after finding out I made a mistake i decided to keep it and use it as a temp until I saved up enough money to buy the x-pole. Well today I was practicing my inverted crucifix and i felt the pole shift. I quickly and safely got down and when I went to take the pole down to set it back up right I noticed the round bottom bolt that keeps it tight had split. I can open it and take it off the bottom of the pole. I'll be ordering my X-pole tonight  but I'm super bummed because I can't use the pole until it arrives next week. What can I do to make sure I don't have a set back within the week? I work out on my days off the pole should I do that every day or stick to every other day?

You will not experience set back in a week.  And you shjould NEVAER work out every day.  Your body needs time to rest and if you do not allow it time to repair/rebuild you will stunt your progress.

I agree with Chem- I'm currently off-pole for two weeks while my tattoo heals, and I'm not worried- I'll be back to it no problem! If you really want to keep up with it, do a little light trainig over the week, some light stretching, and leave it at that 🙂

Ok so instead of working out like I was I should just stick to stretching.? simple enough. Thank you ladies.

How many days should I spend off the pole? 1 or 2? I want to make sure I take the proper amount of time off.

I find that 5 days working out (in any way, pole or not) and 2 days resting works well for me. Stretching can be done kind of alternating intense and easy throught the week, though you gott make sure you're good and warm before any stretching!
