Ok…so I bought an X-Pole X-Pert 45mm Chrome.  At the studio where I take class, they use 50mm Brass. I have noticed that I have a really hard time doing the same tricks and spins I do in class with my home pole, also I noticed that my chrome pole becomes very slippery and I have to be cleaning it and using more pole grip, sometimes I feel like filling up my tub with some liquid chalk and take a dip before I pole, I am getting very fustrated because of this, so my husband told me to buy another pole that is bigger and has better grip.  Me being a good wife and listening to "everything" my husband tell me, I decided to get another X-Pole but I don't know what to get…..Should I get the 50mm Titanium Gold or the 45mm brass?

If you like your studios poles then I think you should go with the brass pole. Do you know anyone with a Titanium Gold that you could try out?

chrome poles take a while to break in, but they do get grippier with time and use. Really all poles except brass have a break in period. Titanium may be just as slick as chrome for you, but it may not. I think you should give it more time on the chrome. Really work it!

Itac the chrome one up for a while. WOrked for me. I have 2 chrome and I love them. Titanium had a weird sweat on it that kept appearing out of no where! I like vrass for learning tricks, but it is to grippy for every day use I think personally. Once they get to warm, they are done for also. They get so slick. I love chrome.

I agree with AG and Luvlee. It will take time to break in the chrome. I have the same pole as you and it took a while, but now I love it!
