Can you flow?  Tricks are nice but if you cannot flow them into a dance then what good are they?

What about spins? Floor stuff? Combos and music and dancing? You should have a million moves in you…bring them out.

My floor work is not to good. I find my self having to left feet and them getting muddled up on the floor and dnt have that sexy feel find my self getting s little embarresed .Spins are good and flow well into the tricks. This works better at my class tho than when at home my pole gets very slippy after about two to three linked moves . I’m trying routine building but am not very good at that :(. I’m more the watch and learn student making sumthing up my self just does not come naturly to me . Thanks guys gone realy try my floor work. I think one of main problems is not knowing what to go into next.xxx

Throw on some music, dim the lights and just dance.  Forget about the tricks just let your body move with the music.  If you are working on tricks make them PERFECT…pointed toes, beautiful lines, something that mkes them YOURS.  Just because you can *do* a trick does not mean you are done with it.  I am working on making my shoulder mount "pretty", whish is not an easy task.  I am also working on everything on the opposite side, whcih is even harder!  Try climbing with the opposite foot or inverting on your oposite side; it is like everything is new again.

Chem is right. Just let go and mooove. And to get inspired to do floorwork- watch some vids of Alethea or anyone who will get your flow-juices…flowing. Ha! It’s really important to finish even the simplest moves. When I first started working on freestyles I preferred slow music to be sure that I slow down and to move with intention. Focus on everything from breathing to head rolls, and foot placement to fingertips. And point those toes!!!! 😉

Maybe one day ill video a routine n post for feed bk. I’ve been working on wrist stands and shoulder stand sway from the pole but dnt have good balance. I will try sum slow music. I been doin one handed climbs and body rolls as i move up and bk down and difret climb variations that can look pretty I’m also working on my spinning climb on a static pole xx
