Pole Studios in Greenville SC
Hello,
I am moving to Greenville SC in less than two months and am looking for a new studio. I have found three studios so far: North Pole Dance Studion, West End Dance Company, and The Pole Academy. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with these studios that they would be willing to share. Also if anyone knows of other studios please let me know. Thanks!

I’m close to Greenville but I I’ve only heard of the North Pole……unfortunately I’ve never taken any lessons there! I have taken lessons in Spartanburg at Xtreme Pole Fitness and Wind Beneath My Wing Pole Boutique! Two totally different experiences!

I stopped by Xtreme Pole fitness and they seemed very nice. They were willing to work with me a couple of classes to be able to get into the next level. I need to learn the butterfly to move up to their next level. Spartanburg is a ways from simpsonville but all the other studios had bad online reviews. What was your experience like? Thanks

Well XPF was the first studio I ever attended! It was a great experience. Shauna is excellent with routines but she use to be a tad bit pricey! I’m not sure about her current prices. Two of her instructors quit and opened up a studio called Wind Beneath My Wing Pole Boutique. U can add one instructor on Facebook her name is Arlesia ThePoleGeneral Wilson. I don’t want to air anybody business on a pole site so I will just say try them out and go with which ever one better suits you! There is also North Pole Studio which have recently relocated to Greer Sc…..which is way closer to Greenville!

U can go on my Facebook page and look on my wall….I’m sure u will find something from Arlesia ThePoleGeneral Wilson. She is one of the owners! The studio is new but small! She have pics and videos on her page! My Facebook name is loresha boyd

The Facebook page for her studio is Wind Beneath My Wing Pole Exercise Boutique. It have Pink Angel Wings logo with Wind Beneath My Wing written between the wings! there is also a pic of the staff in a bar setting.

Hey Ladies!! I'm in Charlotte, but my best friend lives in Spartanburg and has visited every studio there. She also created a Facebook group called GSP Pole Divas. You should join if you aren't already a member. It's private and by invite only, so if you inbox me your names, I'll add you. They share a lot of information with each other. Hope that helps!

Hi there!! I am moving back to Anderson, SC (it’s about 30 min from gvl) after being in Germany for 2 years. I went to NP in Greenville for a private lesson over Christmas last year. This is a dance school that also teaches pole. I have not read great reviews but I also am a believer that you should not knock it until you try it. You might end up learning something great, you just never know (; I have also been speaking with Jax Spencer, the owner of Pole Academy. She teaches out of her home and I also know others who teach out of their home her in Germany. Any negative comments I have heard about the PA from Jax has only been people knocking that she teaches out of her apartment–extremely terrible reason to put down a pole school. She actually seems to have a great things going and is VERY involved with everything pole and her students. I plan to meet with her for pole jams/parties and special gatherings since I’ve always been a home learner and just want pole ppl to connect with. I will be in Anderson just after the new year. Contact me if you would ever like to get together :). I met my very good friend here on SV (emotioncather) and hate to leaving her behind… Let me know how it goes!!!!
