Saving Up For My First Real Pole
Here begins the count ^_^ I'm saving up for my Platinum Stages Star Stand Alone (as my homemade pole is outside and quite frankly, the deck is too small). It's going to take awhile especially considering money is really tight and trying to pay off debt but I'm putting any of my extra money and tips towards it. The whole thing with extras and shipping will cost about $1,100. I want this to be my more or less official counting thread =)
Also, just wondering if any of you ladies have any extra money suggestions or ways to get some donations?

If you are not totally dead set on a SSA, I know for a fact that XPole sells off XStages that are used at shows and conventions for I want to say 30 or 40% off list price. They do not advertise these at all so you have to call. I know one of the girls here in Cleveland picked up 3 used XSL's last year. I also know of a girl here in Cleveland that may be wanting to get rid of one or two of her XSLs (50mm) and is letting them go for about $500.

Oh that's great to know =) The only big problem I've been having in general with getting a pole is that I do live in Canada. I would definitely consider them though. The start stand alone is a big bonus because of the 3" height. I have very low ceilings and I would have to actually remove part of the Xstage top.

Oh and sorry, just so no one takes it the wrong way, I'm not currently asking for donations. I'm just curious if anyone has done that before and has any suggestions.

The XSLite is also only about 3 inches off the floor, however the pole itself is much higher. Nice thing though is that shorter extensions are not very expensive.

Check Craigslist periodically. I got my XSL for $495!!! I’ve seen star stand Aline’s on Craigslist as well
