Posted by miss fern on November 14, 2012 at 12:13 amHave you guys seen this new drop?

It's Kristy Sellars, who you might know from her awesome Pirates of the Caribbean routine at Miss Pole Dance Australia 2010 (she was also in the finals this year with a Flight Attendant routine that was equally as awesome!)
What do you think? 😀

LOVE IT! I was at MDP on the weekend and she did this in her flight attendant routine. She was by far my favourite contestant of the night!
-
Hollllllly wow. that looks amazing!
So upset I missed MPD last weekend 🙁 Had an engagement party in Canberra to go to.
Grrrr! I can't wait until the DVD comes out!

OMG, I just did this in my last practice video, without even thinking it was a thing. It's really easy, frankly. https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/509c05e2-3910-49f6-ae9f-58a50ac37250

Yep, I was there at MPD last Sat and me and my posse all LOVED Kristy’s Flight Attendant routine and I also saw her in 2010 too at MPD.
Just legendary!!!!
Even though last Sat at MPD, her music got stuffed and she got a second chance to re-do her routine, she did it perfectly and flawlessly whilst a lot of other contestants stuffed up!!I can’t wait for the DVD! I think I will buy this year’s.
Last year’s didn’t make as much of an impression on me. -
Wowy! She does this so fast no matter how many times I see it I can not tell how she is gripping in that drop on the way down. :/
-
She isn't gripping in the drop. The legs catch the drop.
-
Agreed Juicy! Alot of girls made minor mistakes. I even saw a couple of sloppy V inverts last weekend which I wasn't expecting. They were all great but Kristy was amazing. I loved her Iron X leg wave thing too 🙂

It looks like she is catching with her legs, but she is also using her shoulder mount and left arm as a point of contact. At :11 she uses her left arm to brace against her shoulder. Super sweet move!
-
Looks like torn skin on the shoulder to me…ouch! I"m not sure it's pretty enough to counter the scary/pain factor. Now if the drop of super gorgeous…no needs shoulder skin.

Look, all I know is when I did it, I caught with my legs. Only. 3:40 https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/509c05e2-3910-49f6-ae9f-58a50ac37250

Here is a OLD vid of me doing just a shoulder mount drop/slide. its starts around min 2:09. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkwANY1h-JI&list=UUup79MtZnWP_SCAHeVlmzdQ&index=52&feature=plcp I didn't get any shoulder burn or pain because for this I used the hands.
The bomb variation I would say she catches mostly with her legs.

Hi Ladies! I’m so excited you like the drop:-) its definitely a skin ripper. When you’re in the pencil you think about bringing your legs in so that you grip with the swidgy part between your knees. Also it’s easy to start with a switch (going from one position to another without dropping). The hardest part is to make it actually drop, which takes more skin off. Good luck 🙂 I’d love to see vids!!!
