Hey, Guys! I just got done hand washing some of my pole clothes and thought I would let all of you know what I use and so on. I use Woolite gentle formula for handwashing delicates. I use cold water and let them sit for 10 mins. Then I go and swish all the yuck out of them. I change the water and add softener (sometimes) (Mika Yoga wear suggests NOT using softener) I have used it on MYW with no problem though. I let it sit 10 more then rinse in cold. I then throw them in the washer just for a spin cycly OR I squish them out by hand and lay them flat to dry. This stuff all adds up, and I take care of mine. I never see fading or have stretching!

I hand wash all my sports bras for pole and padded bras for everday wear. It really does make them last longer

I wash mine in the washing machine on the gentle cycle with woolite. Then air dry. Haven't had any problems with loss of shape or damages. On the stuff with really long tails (like side tie items or garters with wraps) I take the tails/ties and do a knot and throw them in.

I have done gentle cycle too and I always tie the ties! Great ideas. I am telling you there could be a mess if left un tied. I learned the hard way.

I always tell myself to have some civility and get a 'lingerie washing bag' to put the stuff with ties/tails in but that NEVER happens… so I tie them up. I had an awful tangled mess when I don't. Or the tricky… tied but not tight enough and it broke free!

I’m too lazy to hand wash my dancer stuff…..after about 6 months it starts to matter. I used to only do wash cycles when I forgot to handwash….now I do it all the time. I used to handwash with regular hand soap because my mom buys unscented detergent LOL kinda ghetto, I know…if I buy lace, though, I will only hand wash.

I seem to be allergic to most scented stuff. It sucks, but I love Woolite.
