So somoene asked me about this last night and I remember it (as I was the one who showed the person who asked her about it) but I cannot seem to find the video for it any more.  You end up in a V sit but sideways on the pole with both legs on the same side of the pole but you get there by threading your leg under your high arm.  I know at some point if you are doing it from the ground you reach under your left leg to grab the pole.

Help anyone?  For the life of me I cannot find the video where I first saw it, but I will also say it was at least 4 years ago.

That is the spin and on spin mode. I can't imagine spinning as much on static for that one.

It is much easier on spin from what I understand but you do move about a bit on static mode.  My one girl has managed to get probably 1.5 revolutions out of it.

Here it is named as the "Post Spin" (it's been renamed on the new PDC syllabus as far as I know). As in "posting a letter"

I call it "Threading the needle", but I first learned it as a "Donna Side Spin"

I too learned this as threading the needle. I use it sometimes into a side climb 🙂

it's easier to do on static if you step into it and place your thigh directly on your wrist, instead of having it touch and rub the pole (slowing you down).
