I recently found a partner will to do a feature with me at work. I don’t really have a style, and really wanted to do a feature as they tend to make tons of money. And also, get me more customers :3

The girl I’ll be dancing with is much smaller than me. She’s about 5’6″ WITH shoes and maybe 110 pounds? I’m 6’1″ with shoes, and 135. So we won’t look like mega opposites. Just enough for variation. Anyway. I’d say this because I have an athletic build and she’s just a petite little thing. I’d assume that I would be the “holder” in post positions.

Which brings me onto the topic of music. I dance to slow grungy rock (puscifer, tool, celldweller, etc) and she dances to country. She’s doing a cowgirl feature in February, and she’s comfortable with all forms of music. I am with too, with the exception of dubstep.

I plan on sneaking her to a studio for doubles training and getting her to fall in love with pole outside of work that way I can have a doubles partner forever, MWUAHAHAHAHA! No, but seriously. I don’t want to show up at the studio asking for doubles choreography help and not know what we’re dancing to.

I was considering El Tango De Roxanne for our opening number, since we need to take up 20m of time and that song depending on the version is anywhere from 3:30-7:30 long. But I need more to fall back on. She and I are pretty comfortable with eachother, so I’m thinking we might do our set like this:

    1) opening song is traditionally a female/male song, where I will be playing the “male” (I plan on getting a really nice white bustier and a feminine long tailed tux jacket)
    2) A somewhat sexy super soft core girl on girl song (give me the sexiest song you can think of)
    3) We close with a gender neutral semi-artsy dubstep number. I was thinking something like

    http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=RackEH1mRJQ&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DRackEH1mRJQ

Not your standard contemporary, but very loose. Keep in mind we’re at a strip club, so the expect MOST of the music to be upbeat-ish. We can get away with things like Wicked Games or Florence + the Machine, but it’d have to be a remix :3

I know this is an odd request, so
    thanks for any help.

Doubles in a strip club… In my mind the guys wont be really thriled by this, the only thing they want is to watch you girls lick each other, not an accrobatic performance….unless it end that way lol

I'm jealous! I wish I had someone at work to double with. But I'm the only day shift girl who can use the pole. There is one other girl but she kind of flails around and gets drunk. I watch in horror, thinking at some point she's going to crack her noggin. I don't want any part of that, lol.

    Hmm…songs…let's see…

1.) No idea. I'm not sure how much guys are going to dig Roxanne though. Just my opinion. You could go with Jace Everett "Bad Things". I freaking hate country but I actually like that song and there is a dance/rock remix that the dj at my club plays.

2.) I'd say Rihanna's "Skin" or Portishead "Glorybox"

3.) I'd say Neon Hitch "Fuck You Betta" Dudes love that song, just saying. It's not artsy, but it's fast paced and it gets their brains moving.

We did a doubles routine to Stranglehold for a fetish ball.  Actually it was 3 of us total with one being our "master".

Check out Gravity Plays Favorites or Dakota Fox for some music/routine suggestions.

There are some GREAT dubstep sexy songs on a playlist called Filthy Filthy Dubsexxx on 8tracks.  Hopefully this link will work.  Unfortunately you really cannot skip too many songs but it is worth the listen: http://8tracks.com/burchbabexo/filthy-filthy-dubsexxx

Not sure if you would like this, but there is a newer song I've been into lately that has a bit of a country/folksy beat to it, but it also has a bit of grindy, and kind of ethereal all at once. It is "Barton Hallow" by "The Civil Wars". I'm a little obsessed with it right now! It's genre is categorized as Singer/Songwriter. Other than that, I also love Portishead "Glorybox". Super, super sexy.
