Yes they've pretty much done wonders for me. My schedule didn't coincide with my studio's anymore so I started the lessons. I have time to go back to classes now but I like learning at home better. One day I'll go back to the studio…one day!

I think most of the people here have taken her lessons at one time or another. I know I am almost done with a two year stretch….

Lessons are great. I have often wondered where and how Veena learned everything!!

Chem's right: try for yourself and see because everyone likes different things! In my experience Veena's lessons are the most comprehensive I have found anywhere else online. This is just my two pennies worth, but I find:
– Lessons are easy to use with a progressive learning format (Veena tells you the best order to try things in to build up your strength and then build on the tricks you already know to try increasingly difficult things).
– Veena has a great system of demonstrating the breakdowns of moves and she includes other really useful information like the muscle groups used and the contact points you need to be thinking about. She has a clear teaching style and the videos are of professional quality.
– Moves are demonstrated several times and from different angles to give you the best chance of seeing exactly what you should be doing. Veena often shows several ways to transition in and out of the intermediate/advanced moves which is also a nice touch and helpful when you're trying to learn how you can link things or simply giving ideas to allow you to be more creative with your dance.
– New lessons are added quite regularly, and updates are made on older lessons from time to time which keeps things fresh. Lessons include everything from moves at different levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) to strengthening and stretching. There are also hoop and lap dance lessons if either of those things interest you.
– From a cost perspective, the lessons are really reasonable, especially if you go for an annual package.
– The website is really well maintained and you get very prompt support if you ever have any issues.
Hope this helps!

I personally think it's great value for money. Pole classes are great once in a while but I like Veenas lessons because I can take my time to perfect a move and I can watch her lessons as many times as I need to.

If I can toot our own horn, Veena has always been concerned about people's progression and because of that we've ordered the lessons and included lots of supporting material in her getting started videos.
Now we have taken that one step further and released the first guided system ever for pole. For 30 days you have a workout from Veena that will help you progress and establish your fundamentals giving you a more successful pole journey. These workouts link to other related lessons and provide a well rounded experience and pole education.
You can't get a more complete system anywhere.

I definitely agree with Webby. As a more advanced dancer I find myself wishing I could have had everything they NOW have available when I was on Day 1 of having my pole! There is absolutely NO WAY I would be where I am without the Studio Veena Family. I also recommend joining in on Friday Chat! There are so many nice people to meet and get to know, those that understand the highs and lows of being a pole dancer :o)
Give yourself a Christmas Gift and purchase the lessons! And welcome to SV.com!!!

After reading that it sounded ego-mania and I did not mean to come across that way! What I wanted to say was
"I definitely agree with Webby. Being almost 3 years into my pole journey I find myself wishing I could have had everything they NOW have available when I was on Day 1 of having my pole!
;o)

Just do yourself a favor and puchase them. Thats really all I have to say. There is to much good stuff to even explain, you need to experience it yourself. 😀 Going on 1½ year for me now, and I wouldnt know what to do, without this place and the lessons. When my first anual purchase was over, I almost freaked out, because I couldnt access the lessons until I got my paycheck the next day. That was one loooong day… (okay, I had a bit more to say :D)

Joining Studio Veena was the best choose i made! Before I found her site I was learning off dvd’s with no mention of conditioning or shoulder placement! Needless to say I hurt my shoulder! I love how the lesson are set up and there is strenght training exercises! Also I live no where near a studio so i cant take lessons ar one! So i am so glad I have this site!
