    Hi everyone!!

I would love your advise! Over Christmas and new years my pole studio is shut and my gyms hours are also reduced. i am working a bit so the days that the gym is open (later) i will already be at work and it shuts early.

What can I do to stay strong and increase lean muscle mass, so that over the next 2-3 weeks I dont loose the muscle and leanless i have created as I will not be able to gym and pole during this time

    What do I do??

Veena has strength lessons here that do not require pole use.  There are a ton of videos available at the library.  If you have cable there is exercise TV.

But honestly, in 2 weeks you are not going to notice much of a loss.  You may even come back stronger because you have allowed your body to rest and rebuild.

Yep, what chem said. I often find improvement after a short break!

so having 2 weeks with no fitness at all is not going to reverse my training results so far?

I don't think the two weeks off will leave you noticably weaker, but for me I go stir crazy if I don't exercise at least a little every week. BodyRock.Tv has been my answer for this. 12 min you can do in your house with little to no equipment.

You did not get this far in 2 weeks to begin, right?  No, you will not atrophy in 2 weeks.

Two weeks is not going to hurt at all, and may even help you.  I broke my foot Aug 27th and was off the pole for 10 weeks, I wasn't able to teach at all just do strickly the business side of my studio.  I'm 56.  That time off actually helped me refresh, I lost nothing!!  So I wouldn't worry about it.  Enjoy the break!  ðŸ™‚

I’m about to take two weeks off and let me tell you, I am excited about it. My body needs this time. I’m only going to stretch. That’s it. No pull-ups, push-ups, crunches, planks, nothing. Just resting and stretching. I expect to feel so much better afterwards! 🙂 It’s been too long since I’ve given my body a break. Your body would probably love it too!
