Where do you buy your shoes!
Posted by NonFlexy on January 3, 2013 at 9:34 pmWould love to know what websites you like to buy your pole shoes from! All I know about is howcool.com, but would love to know what other options are out there.
Also, any favorite brands?

I buy almost all of my shoes from http://www.snaz75.com They have enormous variety and you can shop by brand and heel height. My favorite brand is Pleaser.

I use Discout Stripper. I will not be purchasing another pair of pleasers. My 7" ones lasted me six months, I have had my 8"s for almost a month and the sole is already seperating from the heal, along with various rips and tears on my dominant climbing shoe, most from the first day. I was really disheartened after the fact, and found out that most of the girls at my work buy from Anthony's, Highest heel, or Ellie.

That's really crummy CapFeb that you are having so many issues with that brand. I have wanted to try Highest Heel for a while.

To be fair, I use them 3-4 times a week. At that rate, 6 months is expected. But I'm not constantly heel slamming, and I don't do ankle/foot (anything that puts the foot strap in direct contact witht the pole) spins in them. The top band should not have wear on the first day. And the lifting is fixable and to be expected, but I wasn't expecting it within 3 weeks of use. Not to mention, these don't have as much of a foot cushion as my last pair did.

My shoes will last about 4 months max with regular wear but I am really hard on them. I had issues with Ellies and Tabu footwear vamps stretching out and the shoe couldn't be worn after that. Had a pair of Pleasers ankle strap detach from shoe but this little metal part pulled up from the seam of the shoe and cut the bottom of my foot. 🙁
You should not have wear like that on the first day and liftng shouldn't happen in 3 weeks. These shoes are expensive and sometimes it seems like they are manufactured poorly for the demands placed on them.

I’ve been thrilled with my pleasers. The other brand I’ve tried is highest heel. LOVE the look of the show, but after only 2 wears the heel started to separate from the sole. I won’t be buying HH again. 🙁

Thanks Sparrow for sharing your experience, I'll just stick with Pleaser for now but it is good to hear about everyone's experiences. I love Snaz75!
