    Yay my new 45mn xpole xpert in chrome just came in today I want to go ahead and put it up when I get home but I keep reading different threads and im so confused am I supposed to clean the poles of factory grease before I use them? And if so whag do I use to clean them with? Im sure this has been answered before I’m just confused :/

    The quick way is rubbing alcohol. But steam cleaning really gets all the gunk off and should be done at least once a week 🙂 

    If you don't have a steam cleaner, using an iron with a steam setting works just perfectly. That's what I do.

    Glass cleaner (ammonia) also works well for cutting grease and oil, including the factory stuff. Xpole even recommends glass cleaner in their manual.

    It's a generally good tip for household cleaning as well… whatever rubbing alcohol doesn't work for, glass cleaner usually will… and vice versa. 🙂

    Yes, using a steamer works really fast. Rubbing alcohol will work too, and you may have to clean the pole several times before the junk is all off.
