Hi everyone, I assume for December we will be doing something holiday related. However, I was thinking for the January challenge (new year, new beginnings) — let’s dance to a favorite "remake" song (i.e., Boys of Summer by the Ataris instead of the original by Don Henley; Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson instead of the original by the Eurythmics). What do you think? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif

P.S. I’m actually not sure where to put these suggestions as I"m new, so tell me if I am posting in the wrong spot. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

There is a Challenge idea section https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I think dancing to a remake sounds like a great idea.

Hmmmm, maybe January will be my first challenge submitted? Sounds like fun!

How about a song that sums up the (feeling of the) last year, or what you wish for the new one?

Hi! I'm new to this site and to the monthly challenges – is there a specific date in each month we should try to post videos by or is it pretty much open until the next month?  and do we just post them in the video section of our profiles?

Holly….you can do any challenge at anytime. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif So if there are some you have missed feel free to do it. Just be sure to label the video with the month so we all know what challenge it's for.

What about doing a sexy pole dance…except in a completely ridiculous outfit that you would never, ever associate with sexiness or pole dancing. Like a dress made out of a garbage bag. (I'm not saying to actually wear this, unless you really want to, just using it as an example.) Remember that really ugly shirt your relative gave you? Time to break it out! Super heinous shoes, pants, skirts, whatever. My boyfriend has some clown shoes that I think would be great. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif Actually, he has a Halloween costume from a couple of years ago that would be great–he went as a pimp and the outfit is this ridiculous purple and silver striped suit with a cape. I could pair it with the clown shoes. Imagine floorwork in that! LMAO

Funny you should say garbage bag, I donno if it is still up but SaschaPoles did an awesome pole dance video in a garbage bag a long while back just to make the point that you can be sexy in anything and it's about the attitude you projects and how you work it. I think it's come down, but now anytime someone mentions a garbage bag I think of it. 😀

Ha ha, that's too funny! I've never seen the video–a garbage bag was just the unsexiest thing I could think of. I keep picturing myself doing a striptease dance out of my boyfriend's pimp costume and how funny it would probably be–I might have to do it even if we don't do a challenge based off ugly costumes. I can't imagine what it would be like dancing in those clown shoes.
