I got her DVD. It is okay. Definitely fast paced and fun looking. I felt like she did not explain the exercises well as to correct form. I had a hard time following the kicking combination, because she did not break it down at all. I felt new york city ballet workouts was better and had more instruction for dancers including DVD sections just for technique. While it is fun, I can't imagine doing it 3-4 times a week as recommended. I get bored with my DVDs that have 5 different 30 minute routines after a while. The leg lift and glutel sections was good though. End: not sure it was worth the money.

acoretacri I would have to say I kind of agree. I enjoyed the dvd, but there's no way I would use as recommended 3-4 times a week. Bottom line, I love to get dvds and books with info on stretching, movement, dance, etc, and have references and ideas for building a workout. I rarely do any full dvds as workouts, but I build my own workouts from them as I go with the elements that I like the best.  This one has a lot of movements in it that I enjoyed, but very little technical information on body orientation/range of motion/stabilizing. Because you get it from Australia it's kind of spendy and then you add shipping, and I am not sure it was worth it. I do love Cleo though, so I don't regret the purchase.

Thanks for the info Corby and acoretacri it is quite expensive with shipping and I know that I won't do it 3 to 4 times per week as well as poling and walking, I'm just not that committed lol, but it did look interesting it reminds me of those 80's workouts I did in my 20s,  I'll save my money for some more polewear, Thanks again 🙂

I got her dvd two weeks ago. I was very dissatisfied. It felt like an 80s aerobics workout video. I expected it to be more floorworky and less exercisey but it didn't really have any unique sexy moves. 90% is what I already do as my warm up for pole anyway.

O yeah, I forgot to mention that, too, but now that you mention it, I was also disappointed with it in that way. Theres nothing sexy and signature pole/floor move about it. It kind of just looks like an opportunity they had to dress up. Granted, I probably would have to do Cleos workout video 5 times a week for 2 years before I could ever begin to replicate her leg kicks, so starting at that point would not be helpful for me.

So after my wonderful review… If anyone in the states still wants it, I'll sell it for 25$ +s&h.  In brand new (watched once) condition.

Personally, I love the DVD. It just goes to show that not every workout is for everyone! I thought that while yes it was fast paced in really threw my muscles into gear. It took about 2 or 3 times through to get the movements down (those girls are incredibly talented and they make it look so easy!) but if I felt it was too fast I’d pause it, finish on my pace and then continue on. I went straight down into a flat split after the first run through (I was about 3 inches away) I think she did a great job with warming you up and getting your muscles ready for Pnf stretching. I do it about 3 times a week and have seen great results. Again, not every workout will work for everyone. You just gotta find the right one and stuck with it 🙂 Rockin legs n abs coupled with Veenas lessons you’ll be sexy flexy in no time!!!!

I disagree with some of these comments, I believe the DVD was never about sexy floor moves but was advertised as exactly what it is, I love it but each to their own I guess, on Cleo’s stretching FB page there are hundreds who have purchased the DVD and love it. 🙂 I love it.

O totally, I agree that the video was never meant to be a floor moves or pole dance tutorial video. I guess I just expected it to be more dance-y and I expected to see things I hadn't seen before.  At best, I was reminded about exercises I already knew.  There's no doubt that following this routine will help with your flexibility if you stick with it and do it more than once. 🙂 That's always the hardest part for me.
