So last night I was took a pole class, it went great but…

My instructor had an injury on her right side so she did all the moves on her left side.

My issues comes in because Im right handed and didnt really notice that we were mainly working on our left sides and now my left wrist and thumb hurts.

I tried rolling it and I just wanted to know if there was anything else I could do to relieve the pain instead taking meds like aleve and…etc

Bracing can help. RICE: rest, ice, compression, elevation. If your forearm aches you can massage it. Start some strengthening exercises for your hands, wrists and forearms when it starts feeling better.

Thank you, I’m still pretty new to pole dancing. So when you say bracing, you mean wearing a wrist cast or brace? And is it weird that I have a tightness in my thumb?
I have the usually soreness you get from a regular workout on my left side and RICE should help me too…
    Thanks again!!

those braces you can get from the drug store. Just don't wear it for too long. I'd ask the doc about the thumb soreness.
