    Hi guys,

I've ordered two platinum star stand alone poles from Platinum Stages.. Since I ordered in October, I expected to have recieved them by the end of the year.. I've now had to reschedule the dates of 2 showcases and wasted a lot of time and effort trying to get hold of them! Every phone call is the same (we'll call you back) and every email goes unanswered.

Has anyone else had this issue/recieved poles from them yet? I have another showcase organised for a months time and we've been offered a ton of freebies and money back but not seen any of this! I'm literally been driven to dispair. Sory for the rant, but I haven't seen any complaints about the company and people from the US have poste rave reviews! Today is supposed to be the last day for deliveries, but still.. Nothing.

I suppose I'm looking for a light at the end of the tunnel/anyone else in the same situation! Or has anyone had experience of a refund from them..? As the tempation to go to X-pole is high, but runs the risk of not getting refunded in time!

    Sorry.

Platinum Stages UK is run by Pole2Pole Magazine. (The company director is listed as "Brett Golding" who is in marketing for P2P)

Unfortunately it really doesn't surprise me that you've been let down by this bunch of …. (this is the point where I'm supposed to say "my mother told me, if I can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all")

Yes, I've heard all about the alusive Brett… But he hasn't been able to answer his mobile once. Or call us back 🙁
I haven't seen any complaints about them from anyone in the UK though! In fact.. I haven't seen ANYTHING about them in the UK. Their customer service is shocking. 🙁

so sorry to hear about your experience with them siamesekat 🙁 I didn't know PS was run by P2P here. They have a reputation to say the least… if you still have no luck would it help to go to citizens advice bureau or some other body that can advice you on how to contact them?

Honestly, I would just demand a refund and get X-Poles. If they don't have the courtesy to get you your product within a reasonable amount of time, let alone respond to your calls, they don't deserve your business.

If you paid by CREDIT CARD (or Paypal in some cases), you can take it up as a dispute to say that you haven't received goods you paid for.

Indeed, it’s within your consumer rights in the UK to request your ££ back.

    Hi!

I don't know what happen at Platinum Stages, I ordered my Star Stand Alone in January and I expected to have received it within February.

I sent e-mail at PS several times but they keep postponing the shipping date..I don't now how much time I'll have to wait  for my pole, its really frustrating and a waste of money and time. I used to have an x-pole in my country but  I've got problem with the house structure here so unfortunately PS was the only solution

    Hi

I ordered a SSA from Platinum Stages UK in Dec last year,  expected delivery first week in January and I am still waiting for it.  They just keep postponing the delivery date.  It was definitely going to be a fortnight ago but it never arrived.  Has anyone else who has had problems with them managed to get them resolved?

I have only ordered thru the US site and I have had no problems with delivery at all. Sorry this is happening. Maybe email PS in the US to see if they have anysuggestions. Ask for Staci. Good luck.

Thanks,  I tried that a week ago for attention of their CEO Keith Scheinberg,  but I never got a response.
