Mirrors?
Posted by JenLFG on April 4, 2013 at 10:11 pmNow that I am getting my new pole for my new pole room i am going to need some new mirrors & I want big, wall size mirrors like you see at a studio 🙂
I need to find some for pretty cheap & I have no clue where to start.
Oh & Has anyone here used the “glassless” mirrors? I saw them when I was looking online for mirrors a second ago, they were expensive but neat 🙂victorialiv replied 10 years, 6 months ago 9 Members · 12 Replies -

Hi there JenLFG, I actually have a folding glassless mirror that I ordered from Mirrorlite. Its pretty awesome. It only weighs like 8lbs. The only thing is that you have to be super careful when you have it because its made of a very thin film. The image quality is excellent. Hope this helps. It was pretty costly, but it was worth the price because when I inquired about just a regular mirror I was told it weighs over 75lbs! Yikes I did not want to mess with that. Plus I do not have that wall space to put a mirror of that size up. Good Luck

That sounds great! I underestimated how much mirrors would cost buy like 50% lol. That’s ok since I can save up. The glassless sound really cool & I love that they weigh so much less 🙂

I really enjoy it, plus it has built in handles so you can fold it up and carry it with you. Of course I love to use it when im getting dressed LOL…My mirror is the 24" wide closed 48" wide open by 72" tall.

I did 1’x1′ tile mirrors with those 3m pull tabs a 6’x5′ wall only cost $100 or so US. If you check out my gallery it was very easy and they come down easy with no damage to wall or mirrors if you ever move just need new tabs to put back up:) if you want a full mirrored wall a little cheaper this is way to go…this also works with tall frameless door Mirrors from Walmart 6 in a row put up with tabs and u have a 6ft seamless mirror that way its about $70 US

I have been keeping an eye out for a craigslist mirror, I had a huge wall one for 1 dollar lined up but the poster had a funeral to attend and never got back to me.

In my old pole room I had made a wall of mirrors out of the ones that go on a door 🙂 Might have to do that again until I can save enough to get a big one.

There was just a thread on this a while back w a lot of suggestions…..maybe search the discussion area?

Hey all….we have many mirrors. My church bought an old French Rivera Spa building and we removed them from the wall. There are several different sizes. $25-30. If you would like any of them…please contact me. We are in Memphis, TN.

Chiming in here… I got my 1ft square tiles from Home Depot.

If you’re close to one, definitely IKEA! It takes a little bit of set up, but I have 5 mirrors in my living room. They’re only $10 a piece, so you can decide how many you want and how much of a “wall of mirrors” you want to have, but I’ve loved having this set up.
Here is the link to the mirror on the IKEA website, and I’ve posted a pic of my set up.
