So I've had issues with Cupid for…..ever, pretty much. I know my issue but I have no clue how to fix it. I've been stretching and doing Cupid from the floor but that doesn't seem to be helping much. Basically I get into the position by inverting into a Marley-esque type of position (so I'm gripping the pole behind my left knee and my right thigh is behind the pole). I then swing my right leg around and put my foot on the pole. The problem comes in  the fact that my left knee is not horizontal enough. My foot tends to point toward the ground which makes my kneepit unstable. Any suggestions?

When you go into the cupid you need to pull up with arms so that you can get a straight line from hip to knee cap.  here is a good tips video from Amy.  I hope this helps 🙂

I just got cupid yesterday after trying for months! Charley's advice is spot on. It helps for me to really settle into my gemini first so the knee pit is secure. The big breakthrough for me was accepting that I was going to spin once I was fully extended in the move. Every time I went for that full extension, I would start to spin and then panic, thinking my knee pit was coming loose (and then it would because I would be startled). But watching Veena's lesson, you see her (calmly) spinning into the move. The same thing happens in superman, there's a brief little moment of panic and then all is well.
