I also saw this and was going to make a “look who’s baaaaack!” post. So glad to see her posting again!

ah cool… why did she get off the pole?
i remember her and veena's videos being the first I'd ever seen

I was thrilled to find this out too! in fact I messaged her the other day & told her I was a big fan & she was one who inspired me to start pole! She sent me back a very humble & sweet reply. Tara Karina is the inspirational person who got me enthralled with learning to pole! I never thought I could do it/learn on my own, then I watched her amazing vids & saw she was self taught & that was it for me, I was in!

Yaaay! It was her video, I showed to my hubby, that got him to buy me a pole.. Where have you seen she is back?

She has recent uploads on YouTube. I had never heard of her before this thread! Awesome to learn about other polers:)

Chem, she was. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif She was one of my favorite pole dancers when I first started!

I vividly remember the storage garage she shot so many of her videos in.

I love TaraKarina! Her videos were the first I ever saw when I was 17. I fell in love because she is so graceful. I signed up here because of her and I told my dad I was going to buy a pole but he said no. I moved out shortly after but funds were too tight to buy one. Four years later I finally had enough extra income to buy one! She also used to state on her website that she had issues with anxiety type things and that inspired me even more as I had similar issues at that time.
On her new videos she says how getting back into pole is difficult but she still looks so graceful!!! It's hard to believe she stopped!!!

It is so cool to see her back! Tara was one of the first polers that I watched on youtube, and I loved her graceful style. Like so many others, it was amazing to find out that she was self-taught. So inspirational! 🙂

Awesome! She was also one of my big inspirations to start pole dancing 🙂 I'm going to have to go find her on Youtube again!

Sweet! Was just talking about her today and how she was one of my first pole inspirations! Gotta go check out her new videos. 🙂 so awesome to know that she is back to poling. Does anyone know if she stopped pole for a while, or just stopped getting online?

She mentions in her video descriptions that it's the first time in two years that's she's been back on the pole and about how it's a struggle. She also mentions that the pole burns and bruises are back. She still looks effortless to me.

I also noticed she is back 🙂 If you have ever read her profile on youtube (unless she changed it), and/or somewhere in her comments, she has mentioned that she struggled with social anxiety disorder and that pole dancing was what helped her to overcome it. Then after a time from starting pole dance, I guess it has been this long now that she's been "away", she mentioned she was having trouble again, started again with CBT, and so… it sounded like she was dealing with a lot. :-/
I was also drawn into her videos when I first started pole dancing and that was how I learned about StudioVeena. I think it may be a good idea for us to welcome her back and tell her how much we love seeing her again. She is truly an inspiration.
