Hi i am interested in starting studio Veena lessons but im not sure what level i should start at.

i have done pole lessons before and received 2 certificates for beginners & intermediates.

I stopped for a few years & started back again from level 2 at la fitness in beckenham.i think with pole secrets.

Once again i have not done it for a few years

I have recently purchased a xpole xpert & have just been looking at it for the last 2 weeks.

Welcome to Studio Veena! It sounds like you are probably an intermediate poler. Since you are also attending classes at a studio, my advice would be to skim through the SV beginner lessons and review all the moves to make sure you can do them all, if you can do some of them, but not all, then work on the moves you can't do for a couple of weeks and then proceed with the Intermediate lessons.

Put your pole up! Put on some good music and get to polin' girl! Practice makes perfect and =progress on the pole!

We are having a google + pole jam tomorrow 3 pm PST/5pm  CST/6 pm EST if you want to join in, PM(private message) me with your google + username and I'll add you. Then just log into your google + at the designated time tomorrow and accept my hangout message/invite, then you'll be tapped into the group pole jam.

Hi babysham! Even if you've taking classes before I would suggest starting with the first lesson the "getting started" lesson, and moving on from there. Each section has a "getting started" section and these have important information in them about how to use the lessons and how to structure your pole workouts. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gifAlso all lessons are placed in a progressive order, so you don't have to guess what move should come next, they all build on each other.

Here is the first "getting started" lesson https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4dd006a7-c45c-4c1e-b6b6-4a870ac37250

Welcome! I second cali, it is definitely worth going over the beginner lessons even if they go over some moves you have already learned. Even more advanced polers have mentioned that since Veena's breakdown tends to be more thorough than other instructors there is still something to be learned. I am a rough beginner and could not get a pole sit w/o Veena's help even with pointers from others and watching copious amounts of YouTube videos. It made a huge difference for me. HTH! 🙂
