Hi everyone! I'm going to LA at the end of the month. It came as a surprise, but it's something I'm going to do. It looks like I'll be going the 28th-30th. So I'm looking for a studio with tall poles (atleast taller than 12ft), that has either a drop in advanced, or an open pole. I normally try to research myself, but given short notice, I figured I'd just ask here. Thanks. 🙂

Also; if there's no pole studios fitting my description, feel free to leave suggestions for pole studios that have an interesting fusion class or something.

doesn’t Sergia teach at Vertitude? If so that is where I will probably go 🙂 but location also matters. The hotel I’m staying at is pretty far into L.A. and I’m not sure about driving

the Anaheim convention center is where the event I’ll be going to is. But my host just backed out on me, so I could be staying anywhere from Riverside to Santa Clara. I have a few friends that I can stay with, but that just set me back some.

bespun is in hollywood, vertitude (yes, sergias place) is in the valley, and luscious maven is in north hollywood. i am new to LA, so I am not certain about locations. I think Anaheim in not close. i bet you can find a studio near where you are staying- maybe some other veeners can offer better suggestions 🙂

If I go at all, since apparently out of 8 people I know in LA, none are able to crash on their couch, I will be going to Smoke and Mirrors. They're the only ones with tall poles and open pole on a Sunday, and it's less than 15m from the convention center. We'll see though, I still have 4 other people to talk to.

Apparently Smoke And Mirrors only does Open Pole on Sunday once a month. So I'll actually be here:

On Sunday the 30th. I'd be excited to meet some polers ahead of pole expo!

Have fun! Wish I had the $$$ right now to join ya sigh. That studio is only 45 mins from me. I hear it is a good studio…in fact, it is on my bucket list of studios to visit in the near future 🙂
