    I've been waiting for over a month for my new platinum stages extreme 45mm multi-piece pole (due to delays in ordering through the studio, lack of stock, work, etc.). I've been pole-less for over a month which is a long time for me. I finally went to open the brand new box today, and the silver paint is bubbled and chipped off the base. There's nothing functionally wrong, and I really want to set up my pole… but I paid for a nice, new pole…don't I deserve a shiny new piece of equipment? Is it worth demanding a replacement, shipping this piece back and waiting for a new one to arrive? I love platinum stages products but I've dealt with their customer service before. It can be quite the pain.
    Mostly this is just a rant. I'm in a grumpy mood from work today and I just wanted something to be nice and go my way today. PS poles are best poles suited to my needs, but I really can't stand dealing with them.

    Have u talked to Staci? She is great and when I had "chip" issues from mailing or whatever happened, it was replaced. The starbase was chipped too but I didnt return it…instead I got a pack of free goodies. But to answer your question, I am the "queen of returns" and knowing me I would want one free of any marks if possible. Since you have been waiting so long, perhaps u cud send them a photo and see if they would knock something off the price or send some free goodies or something? I got my pole in about 8 days and the new pole arrived in the same amount of time…no delays. Sorry you are dealing with that but Im sure Staci will fix it.  🙂
