I would say focus on teaching your friend how to do a proper warmup for all joints and the basics. Maybe spins like front hook or fireman and how to start climbing? Those took me months so depending on your friend's strength you could either talk about working up to those or do a couple. HTH!

When I teach, I usually do
Warm up and some strength (pull up crunch, pole row, …) before I start with pole moves.
Some people find it really hard to do spins, so I usually start with
    Pole walk
    Turns, pirouettes
    Body wave
Some simple transitions to the floor
    Floorwork
When I start with spins I usually do in this order:
    Plie Spin
    Galopp Spin
    Back V-Spin
    Fireman
    Back Hook
