A glimpse into pole future…
Posted by bugsy monroe on July 25, 2013 at 11:51 amAn astonishing performance I was so lucky as to witness at last weekend's 'World Pole Sports Championships', held in London.
This girl is 10 years old. Brace yourselves!

HOLY COW! I think she did every single advanced to extreme move that there is in pole in one single routine!

No. She didn’t do arms only climb (which she did do mpdr in 2011, iirc might be 2010). She was the first person I saw do Janeiro to marchenko and now that’s the only way I can get into that move. I shared a video of her a while ago and despite the fact that she’s amazing the responses from non poles were highly negative and toxic

You'd have to be a prize idiot to find this anything other than amazing!

well now we know what we'd all look like if we trained from age one.

I was there too and we were absolutely blown away by this girl, insanely good! Crazy little spider monkey flying around the pole! Obviously there will be objections to this though as she is only 10 but this is no different to horizontal gymnastics, there was no sexy in there so I don’t see why it should be an issue. Imagine what she will be able to do in 5 or 10 years!

I shared this video on facebook and was pleased to get really positive feedback on her stunning performance. She is a real powerhouse, and already possesses remarkable showmanship and a distinct style all her own. I truly hope she continues to pole, I have a feeling we will all be watching her growth with admiration. I would love to teach pole to children, can hardly wait to see what the next generation will push the boundaries of pole to!
