gentlemen’s clubs in Portland oregon
Posted by Casey Kill on July 26, 2013 at 12:20 pmHey veeners!! I’m trying to find some good clubs to work at in Portland. So far I like union jacks, but I’m in LOVE with the atmosphere of the wild orchid! I’m looking at its potential to make money, a little classier, (no dives) and just a good all around club. If you ladies know of any, or work there, please let me know!

Maybe look in to Devil's Point (rock n roll), or Dancin' Bare (home of one of the best signs ever but definitely blue collar). Not too sure of how dive-y those are, or how good for dancers.
Classic Portland would be Acropolis or Mary's. Though Acropolis is kind of out there in southeast and Mary's is in downtown. Blazer works at Mary's, at least, she used to.
I know Union Jacks is supposed to be really cool. I'm not exactly up to date on the clubs in Portland, but thought I would add those. Someone on here probably know much much more.

You might contact Aine from Brassy Butterfly (a studio in Portland.) She still dances in Portland periodically. She tends towards dive bars, but she knows about the clubs up there too.

Just left Portland! One of the ladies at a downtown bar told me and my husband to go to Devil's Point. She said the polers were really good and it was a nice place. We very drunkenly went back to our hotel "for a nap" and never made it out….We did really want to go, though!

I'm friends with TONS of dancers here.
First thing is what "type" of club. rock, hip hop, alternative etc… What "type" are you? Girly? Rocker? Girl next door etc.
What are you looking to make more money at, stage tips or private dances?
What area of town do you prefer/not prefer.
Don't expect to make a ton of money here, it's extremely saturated.
Just STAY AWAY from Casa Diablo..I can't stress that enough.
Let me know the answers to these and I'll ask my friends!

I can rock pretty much any style you’ll see in a club, I like to stay away from the clubs where dudes go to just sit by the stage and never tip. I’ve worked at one here in tacoma like that, fox’s, so with that being said your.money typically comes.from private dances. I have the advantage of being a pretty natural redhead, and there’s rarely another in the same club. Ideally a club that I can make enough to pay house, with sufficient take home money would make me happy. Another thing is hotels, I’m hoping I can find a safe hotel within walking distance of whatever club, however unlikely that is lol.
I own dgp, and need to order more! Nine dried up in the bottle 🙁 I’m definitely bringing my arsenal of grip aids though! Club poles tend to be subpar.

K, I'll ask around. If you want walking distance to a club, then downtown is probably what you want. Although one of my fav is Stars in Tigard (NOT Beaverton). And it is directly across the street from a hotel. It's in a more affluent part of town also.
As far as the dgp, just add some water to it and shake (or even better, stir with a orange stick or something)! It will rehydrate! 🙂
