I’ve searched Craigslist for weeks with no luck. I bought a cheap pole thinking it will get me through and now I’m starting to question it. So far it seems sturdy during basic spins and inverts and my 200 lb husband checked it out and it seems sturdy. BUT I still want an xpole so I listed some items on Craigslist today in hopes of getting a good start on my xpole fund. Of course used is still an option if I find one but it feels like I’m looking for a needle in a haystack.

are you ONLY wanting an xpole? asking because there's a lil mynx for sale in your area and LM is a great pole, too. I think it's static only, so if that's not a big deal to you, you might check it out.

I really want a spinning pole. I’m open to other poles but it must be spinning.

I’m wishing I hadn’t purchased the cheaper pole because I “just couldn’t wait any longer” but hindsight is 20/20 right? And so far it seems pretty sturdy to build my upper body strength and get my skin conditioned for gripping the pole. I won’t be doing a lot of tricks though. After reading some of the info on this site I’m a little scared of it. :/

It does pay to wait and save for a sturdy pole! You guys might want to check out the Studioveena pole. Goes up and down super fast, (this I love because I hula hoop in my space too) and has a neat button to switch from static to spinny and back to static. The grip is great too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8YW4HEd3gQ&feature=c4-overview&list=UUup79MtZnWP_SCAHeVlmzdQ

That’s def an option and I wish I would have found this site before I spent almost $200 on another pole that isn’t what I really wanted.
