Ok I am kinda obsessed with the pole and it’s effecting my family. Anyone else has this “problem”?
I have a 6 year old and a 13 year. One day I was in Walmart with my 6 year old and we were in the active wear section and they had fever shorts. And my 6 year old says:” look mom, they sell pole dancing cloths here”

Also when I watch video’s about pole, both my boys can name several moves. This kinda disturbs my honey. 😉

pole has affected and influenced EVERYTHING and all my relationships in my life.  I wouldn't have it any other way.

Pole, aerial arts, and contortion on my mind 24/7

I always say that at least my obsession is with something that is keeping me healthy and happy.  This is never bad. Be proud. Be very proud.

Would it be OK that a child recognize on television a  home run, or touch down, or Hockey score, but we have to be on edge with a child recognizing a pole pose?

Baseball, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Pole, why does there have to be any difference?

I would ask the honey  " are you disturbed when the child recognizes a home run or touchdown? "

    not fair

I have to agree with Saphyre, it's an obsession that gets me off my arse and dancing otherwise I would be sitting in the office for 7-8 hours and then sitting even more on the couch watching TV!

Nothing to worry about! 😉 My bf who doesn' t have any interest in pole at all or watching me pole can even name a few moves and identify them. LOL

This is a good post as it has taken over a year for me and my family to kind of figure out how pole will find it's place in this busy life of ours… I wouldn't worry about your kids, I am sure they will be taught the many differences between pole and strip (I don't judge and have friends that strip) but if you concern lies there I would not worry.  My son is 3 and he just LOVES to pole with me and at first my husband and I were concerned but I think that it is a legit sport and as long as you are comfortable with it that is all that should matter.

I don't have kids yet but me and my husband joke about our kids coming to tell him "Look what mommy taught me on the pole" lol. I let my friends kids play on it. The 2 year old girl likes to hold on to it and shake her butt while looking in the mirror https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif and she enjoys my videos lol. Her son who is like 9 likes climbing it like a monkey and I taught him the flag move and he can do it! He is into break dancing also. I have a video of them but I need to get permission to post it lol. I am very obsessed with pole, it's always on my mind, especially listening to music. I always think "what move could i do there" lol. I have 3 poles, one in my living room 45mm, and my 50mm in my pole room/studio and the other one i let my friend use. It has taken over my life https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif
