So I've been working on Machine Gun from standing and have it. I'm not ready to take it up the pole but I was curious if anyone had found a non-awkward way of transitioning out of it from standing? I feel like a squashed cockroach right now LOL and would love to figure out how to use it in a pretty flow.

Hahah squashed cockroach… I was taught to get out or it the same way you got into it. If you can balance out and perhaps get your back leg down straight you could go into a pole split? I can try tonight and let you know 🙂

That would seem logical…not sure why its not working for me! I'm doing it in heels, don't know if that makes a difference.

You can flag out of it, which looks nice. If you have a flag press, you can then press back up. Or just flag down to the floor.

Hmm…can I see a photo or video? That sounds like a great solution but I'm trying to imagine this and all I'm seeing is me puncturing myself in the ribs. LOL.

LOL, i spoke too soon! Here's a video I found on youtube. all you do is take the hand thats grabbing your leg, and replace it on the pole. that puts your hands in flag grip and you can lower down to the floor, or lift back up onto the pole
