Studioveena pole
Posted by Staci123 on September 10, 2013 at 8:47 amI finally got my new studioveena pole. My ceiling is 9 ft, so I got 9-10ft pole. I luv the grip. It makes a noise when spinning, just wanted to see if this is supposed to happen.

Yes, they make a rubbing sound since there is an inner tube as well. I love LM poles the best and am thinking of getting a SV pole in a few weeks. I have a 50 black LM, but it won’t fit in my new place. You will get used to the sound.

Sometimes mine has a rubbing noise if it's too tight. If that is what you're hearing. I've been told you can use liquid graphite on it too.

I'll add that yes as lyme said there's always a little rubbing sound. But if its really squeeky like then try tightening or loosening it just a tiny bit!

Do u think its because my ceiling is 9 ft and I got the 9-10ft. Do u think it needs to be cut an inch or so. It’s a pretty loud sound that doesn’t stop. I love the pole though.

My SV pole is now installed! Yippee! It too makes a similar noise. I tried some liquid graphic around the moving parts but still makes the noise. Perhaps I’ll just turn the music up?!? *LOL* It is a 9-10 foot pole and the height is 9’2″. And yep…I climbed it and touched the ceiling! Happy…happy…happy. I haven’t been to a studio in about 4 months. I’ll post pictures of my install. Ready for the Challenge(s)!

OK me again. I just did a spin (sorry forgot what it’s called) with one leg hooked around the pole and one leg straight out. Things are starting to come back to me slowly. Great clearance on the spin. Hubby said I’m not coming close to anything. It is kind of a small space (less than 4 ft one side, a 4′ 3″ on the other and maybe 6′ other two sides. It is working out great! Can you tell I am excited!! POLE HAPPY!! THANK YOU STUDIO VEENA!!!

I also love my SV pole! It does, also, make “the noise,” but it’s really getting less noticeable as I dance on it. At this point I’m not sure if it’s me, if the noise is just going away, or if it just fits better in my current place.
I love the grip, I love the colour, and I love the diameter (which took some getting used to!). Best Pole Ever 🙂
